Isabell Šubas’ film follows a young Venezuelan girl’s preparations to be celebrated as a ‘princess’ on her fifteenth birthday. However, in a country with the highest incidence of cosmetic surgery and ‘Miss Universe’ winners, hers is a rocky road indeed.
