Víctor Lujine has lived in Canada for several years and comes back to Argentina for the first time, sent by the company for which he works. He has one day for a stopover in Buenos Aires and so will be able to visit his family, with whom he has barely kept any contact.
The Lujines, excited by his arrival, decide to recover lost time. They develop a non-stop series of family rituals in his honor and they offer him their love, contained by the long wait. Games, songs and food are the celebrations that overwhelm his brief stay. The forced attempt to keep the old bonds brings about an unexpected end.
