Ana (35) just became a widow after Antonio, a painter, committed suicide. Through therapy she decides to sell the painter’s workshop, and in it she finds a disturbing portrait of her that Antonio had been working on. “Why did he see me like that?” That is the question that triggers a spiral of imaginary dialogue and dreams around her own self-perception during her very strange grief process.
Gaspar (40), a friend of the couple, invites her to spend some time in his house down south, where Ana sees an opportunity to leave her anguish behind. But this trip will only drive her deeper into profound mental confusion.
