Fernanda returns to Antofagasta, her hometown, to meet her older sister, Francisca, who is clearing out their childhood’s house belongings, empty now after their mother’s death. The property has to be ready for its real-estate selling. After Fernanda finds her mother’s closet completely empty, she starts an argument with her sister about their different ways to deal with mourning.
While Francisca tries to leave the past behind, Fernanda holds on to her mother’s memory that still lives there. She must deal with her home’s transformation, as well with Antofagasta’s, a different city from the one she once knew.
