Juan, a former government employee, is trying to escape the law as well as the tragedy that has been a constant all his life. Reina, a teenager, is trying to escape the sexual and moral abuse she has suffered since childhood at La Pampa’s sexual exploitation camps – places controlled by the gold mining mob.

United by fate, they will go on a journey in search of Reina’s family in a lawless territory of the Peruvian Amazon that has been devastated by crime and greed.
