Paula Hopf, director of fiction and documentary short films such as Light Years and La casa de Los Lúpulos, directs this short film about friendship and adolescence, winner of Best Mexican Short Film at the Guanajuato International Film Festival. In it Ale, in that brief stage between puberty and adolescence, witnesses with her best friend Rubén an equally ephemeral phenomenon: the passing of the Velvet comet through the imposing buildings of Mexico City. The recording of the celestial body hints at the fragility of their friendship, making their encounters more and more sporadic and their most strange reunions, forcing the protagonist to confront his own reality, with or without a screen in between.
