Today’s scientist evokes yesterday’s prisoner, and with today’s hindsight he sets off on a journey to the past. He goes to see the city where he grew up, the well in which he was forced to live, the military men who guarded him, and his fellow inmates. The film also proposes a different kind of journey – one that is interior, made up of reflections – which allows us to peek into the stunned world of a prisoner and his strategies to resist inhuman conditions.
